Eileen Fong applies the basic discipline of Chinese painting to express her love of nature. She enjoys letting her spontaneous brushstrokes give
expression to the images that sift freely through her thoughts. Previously a medical technologist, she has an avid interest in exploring and creating. Eileen artistic path has made more interesting by combining other media such as Acrylic and Encaustic
Wax Painting using broad strokes of melted wax. As an active member of several artists group and Arts Councils in B.C., Eileen has shown her artwork in many solo and juried exhibitions in Canada, the U.S.A and Spain. Her paintings have received several awards
which include her recent Award of Excellence from the Federation of Canadian Artists in the Landscape Juried Show of 2013.
In her work, she strives to capture colors and light of nature. Building on a background of Chinese painting, she enjoys her expanding
horizon with freedom and spontaneity.
